Tips & Care
- Works with standard 4–7″ clay pots — inexpensive terra cotta from your local hardware store works great.
- Don't fill pots past the rim or they'll be hard to position. Rotate the pot a bit to ensure it's seated well in the slot.
- Keep the weight evenly distributed — rearrange pots until balanced and visually appealing.
- Leave the wood natural, or give it a coat of mineral or linseed oil to bring out the beautiful grain.
- Cedar starts out red and ages to a warm brown. Cherry starts light brown and darkens over time.
